Google is now showing how many followers a Facebook or TikTok profile has in its ads on search results. This was first tested in regular search results two years ago, but now it’s being tested in paid ads.

In the regular search results, follower counts showed up on actual social media profiles. But in this case, the ads are linking to regular websites—not Facebook or TikTok pages—which makes this seem a bit odd.
