Google may have made another unconfirmed change to its Search rankings over the weekend of July 18–19, 2026.
Some third-party tracking tools are showing increased ranking movement, and discussions within the SEO community also became more active over the weekend.
The last unconfirmed change we covered was the “7-Eleven Update” around July 11. That update appeared to reverse some of the ranking changes seen during unconfirmed updates earlier in January 2026.
Now, some website owners are reporting that the changes seen on July 11 may be reversing, while others are simply noticing significant changes in the search queries they monitor.
The last confirmed update was the June 2026 Spam Update, which began on June 24 and finished on June 26. Before that, Google rolled out the May 2026 Core Update, which ran from May 21 to June 2.
