Several third-party tracking tools are showing increased movement in Google Search rankings this morning. While not every tool is reporting unusual activity, many are showing noticeable changes. There are also early discussions within the SEO community about ranking fluctuations.
This could indicate that Google may have made an unconfirmed change over the past 24 hours, although it is still too early to say for certain.
As a reminder, the March 2026 Core Update began on March 27 and was completed on April 8, 2026.
It is currently unclear when Google will announce its next official update. Google I/O is also less than two weeks away, although major search algorithm updates are not usually announced during the event. Still, anything is possible.
