Google Tries Out New Alignment for Search Result Snippets

Google is testing a small layout change for its search result snippets. The title link, URL, and description are now slightly indented to the right, with the favicon placed to the left of them.

This is a subtle change, but Google has been experimenting with it over the past few days.

I first noticed this through a screenshot shared by Damien on X, showing a side-by-side comparison of the new layout, with the test version on the left.
