It’s more of the same — Google search rankings are still changing a lot. Many people are expecting a new official update, but nothing has been announced yet.
Even without an official announcement, we’re seeing changes happen almost every day. These may be smaller updates that Google isn’t commenting on.
For reference, the February 2026 Google Discover update started on February 5 and finished on February 27. We thought things might settle towards the end of February, but the changes have continued into March.
There has been consistent movement since January, with noticeable changes on several dates throughout both months. Before that, there was also a major update in December 2025, which ran from December 11 to December 29, with two clear spikes during that time.
Overall, search rankings have remained quite active for the past few months, with no real sign of things slowing down yet.
