Google’s March 26 Broad Core Update Has Finished Its Rollout

Google’s March 2026 Core Update has officially finished rolling out. Google confirmed the update on X, and the Search Status Dashboard was also updated to reflect its completion. The rollout took approximately 12 days and 4 hours, finishing on April 8, 2026, at 9:12 AM ET.

This update appeared to have a smaller overall impact compared with some previous updates. For example, the December 2025 Core Update caused significant and rapid changes across Google Search. In contrast, the March 2026 update rolled out more gradually and resulted in less widespread movement.

While some websites experienced noticeable increases or decreases in visibility, the overall impact across thousands of previously affected websites was relatively moderate.

I will continue analyzing the update and share more insights about its impact on social media and my blog. Stay tuned for further updates.
