Google’s March 2026 Core Update Has Finished Rolling Out

Google’s March 2026 Core Update has officially finished rolling out. Google confirmed the completion on X, and the Search Status Dashboard was also updated. The rollout took around 12 days, finishing on April 8, 2026, at 9:12 AM ET.

The update appeared to be less impactful than some previous core updates. While some websites experienced significant increases or decreases in visibility, the overall changes were not as widespread or dramatic.

For comparison, the December 2025 Core Update caused much stronger and faster changes across search results. In contrast, the March 2026 update rolled out more gradually and appeared to have a smaller overall impact, with most websites experiencing relatively moderate changes.

Here is the official tweet from Google:

Here is the updated dashboard:

I will continue monitoring the update and share more insights about its impact on social media and on my blog. Stay tuned for further updates.
