penAI has updated its ChatGPT iOS app so you can now choose Google Maps instead of Apple Maps for local search results. This change appears to have rolled out within the past week.
Ben Fisher shared the update on X, saying, “Did you know you can change ChatGPT to use Google Maps instead of Apple?”
The iOS app’s version history doesn’t mention this feature directly, only listing “Bug fixes and small improvements” as usual.
