New data from Similarweb shows that nearly all ChatGPT users also visit Google, while only about 15% of Google users visit ChatGPT. This highlights Google’s continued dominance despite ChatGPT’s rapid growth.

Brodie Clark shared this data on X, noting that in August 2025, 95.3% of ChatGPT users also used Google, while only 14.3% of Google users used ChatGPT. Here’s the chart he shared:

While ChatGPT keeps growing, people are still heavily using Google,” Brodie wrote.

This matches Sparktoro’s data showing that traditional search is far from dead.
