Google now appears to be pulling reviews from Google Business Profile listings to display in its AI Overviews. For example, if you search for reviews of a specific doctor, you might see Google highlighting individual reviews from their profile.

Matt Smith spotted this and shared on X, saying, “Google is now featuring individual Google reviews directly in AI Overviews. Checked a few doctors and seeing it consistently. For the most part, they’re just showing their own reviews. Keyword: Robert adelson md reviews.”

I was able to reproduce this, and here’s Matt’s screenshot:

Andy Simpson confirmed this, saying it’s “most definitely yes,” and shared the reviews from the doctor’s Google Business listing.

I guess your Google reviews are now even more important…
